AD8DP:I just pushed M172DMR to git:

https://github.com/nostar/MMDVM_CM/tree/master/M172DMR

This is to connect a DMR master server or XLX server to an M17 reflector.  I have tested on my all mode xlx network and all modes Dstar, DMR, YSF, P25, NXDN, and Peanut all sound excellent coming out on the M17 reflector. As with DMR2M17, M17 transmissions from the currently available clients (mvoice, dudestar, droidstar) do not sounds as good out of these modes.

This is the source code of M172DMR, a software for digital voice conversion from M17 to DMR digital mode, based on Jonathan G4KLX’s MMDVM software. Unlike the other cross mode utilities upon which this is based, this utility performs software transcoding between ICodec2(M17) and AMBE+2 2450×1150(DMR).

This can be used to connect an XLX or DMR Master server to an M17 Reflector

DMR Server <-> M172DMR <-> M17Reflector

If you want to connect directly to a XLX reflector (with DMR support), you only need to uncomment ([DMR Network] section):

XLXFile=XLXHosts.txt
XLXReflector=950
XLXModule=D

and replace XLXReflector and XLXModule according your preferences. Also, you need to configure the DMR port according the XLX reflector port, for example:

Port=62030

StartupDstId, StartupPC and Address parameters don’t care in XLX mode.

This software is licenced under the GPL v2 and is intended for amateur and educational use only. Use of this software for commercial purposes is strictly forbidden.

Building

This utility is not built with the other cross mode ulitities, and has 1 external dependency:

md380_vocoder https://github.com/nostar/md380_vocoder

run ‘make’ from the source directory.
