As with DMR2M17, M17 transmissions from the currently available clients (mvoice, dudestar, droidstar) do not sounds as good out of these modes.<br><br>-Doug<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the source code of M172DMR, a software for digital voice conversion from M17 to DMR digital mode, based on Jonathan G4KLX&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/g4klx\">MMDVM<\/a> software. Unlike the other cross mode utilities upon which this is based, this utility performs software transcoding between ICodec2(M17) and AMBE+2 2450&#215;1150(DMR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This can be used to connect an XLX or DMR Master server to an M17 Reflector<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DMR Server &lt;-&gt; M172DMR &lt;-&gt; M17Reflector<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to connect directly to a XLX reflector (with DMR support), you only need to uncomment ([DMR Network] section):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>XLXFile=XLXHosts.txt\nXLXReflector=950\nXLXModule=D\n<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>and replace XLXReflector and XLXModule according your preferences. Also, you need to configure the DMR port according the XLX reflector port, for example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>Port=62030\n<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>StartupDstId, StartupPC and Address parameters don&#8217;t care in XLX mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This software is licenced under the GPL v2 and is intended for amateur and educational use only.
