The following article describes a recommended configuration for the ycs-server connection.<br><br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"network_configuration_of_the_dr-2x\">Network configuration of the DR-2X<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Use a micro-USB cable to connect the DR-2X repeater to a PC that has the IMRS setup software installed. Then start the IMRS setup software.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ycs-wiki.xreflector.net\/lib\/exe\/detail.php?id=ycsserver%3Adr2x%3Adr2x_configuration&amp;media=ycsserver:dr2x:dr2x_setup1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ycs-wiki.xreflector.net\/lib\/exe\/fetch.php?w=400&amp;tok=335aa8&amp;media=ycsserver:dr2x:dr2x_setup1.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Use \u201cRead from Device\u2026\u201d to read out the data from the repeater<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use \u201cSettings\u2026\u201d to configure the network address of the repeater<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ycs-wiki.xreflector.net\/lib\/exe\/detail.php?id=ycsserver%3Adr2x%3Adr2x_configuration&amp;media=ycsserver:dr2x:dr2x_setup2.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ycs-wiki.xreflector.net\/lib\/exe\/fetch.php?w=400&amp;tok=27bb02&amp;media=ycsserver:dr2x:dr2x_setup2.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Use \u201cWrite to Device\u2026\u201d to write configuration to the repeater<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>The IMRS communicates with the <abbr title=\"Local Area Network\">LAN<\/abbr>-01A via specified port 21110 (default). DO NOT CHANGE the \u201c21110\u201d UDP port setting. Also you should set the router firewall to open the UDP port \u201c21110\u201d.When using a router to connect the PC to the Internet, the UDP port must go through the router as well; however, communications using this port is generally prohibited on commercially available routers in the default setting.Therefore, if you are using a router, make sure that the port is \u201copen\u201d for passing UDP traffic inbound and outbound.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On \u201cDestination Repeater&#8217;s Information\u201d screen, click the button \u201c001\u201d. This is the repeater&#8217;s own DG-ID (<em>default \u201c01\u201d on ycs-server<\/em>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap on the [Down Link] field and activate \u201cOWN\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap twice on the [Name] field and configure repeaters callsign.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap [BACK] to go back to DG-ID List screen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ycs-wiki.xreflector.net\/lib\/exe\/detail.php?id=ycsserver%3Adr2x%3Adr2x_configuration&amp;media=ycsserver:dr2x:dr2x_dgid_mode.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ycs-wiki.xreflector.net\/lib\/exe\/fetch.php?w=400&amp;tok=b747c3&amp;media=ycsserver:dr2x:dr2x_dgid_mode.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tap on the [RPT Group DG-ID] field<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap [EDIT] and and write <strong>00<\/strong> in the field<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap [BACK] twice to go back to DG-ID List screen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><br>In the next step, the DG-IDs are configured which should be connected to the ycs server. It is possible to configure all DG-ID (02-99).<br><em>(Please note that only configured DG-IDs can be used. This also applies to the RF side.)<\/em><br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Touch an unregistered [Group DG-ID] twice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ycs-wiki.xreflector.net\/lib\/exe\/detail.php?id=ycsserver%3Adr2x%3Adr2x_configuration&amp;media=ycsserver:dr2x:dr2x_group-dgid.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ycs-wiki.xreflector.net\/lib\/exe\/fetch.php?w=400&amp;tok=d13456&amp;media=ycsserver:dr2x:dr2x_group-dgid.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Touch [DG-ID] and set the first desired DG-ID.<br><em>(Note that the DG-ID field must remain gray, not blue.)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap on the [Down Link] field and activate \u201cOWN\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leave [Registered DG-ID] blank<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap on the [Group Name] field and insert Name of DG-ID.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Touch [BACK] to return to DG-ID List screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Repeat the same steps for each additional DG-ID to be configured.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ycs-wiki.xreflector.net\/lib\/exe\/detail.php?id=ycsserver%3Adr2x%3Adr2x_configuration&amp;media=ycsserver:dr2x:dr2x_group-dgid_2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ycs-wiki.xreflector.net\/lib\/exe\/fetch.php?w=400&amp;tok=3a6d4b&amp;media=ycsserver:dr2x:dr2x_group-dgid_2.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"timer_configuration_of_the_dr-2x\">TIMER configuration of the DR-2X<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In this step, the timers for the transmission time limit (TX TOT) and DG-ID hold time (IMRS TOT) are configured.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ycs-wiki.xreflector.net\/lib\/exe\/detail.php?id=ycsserver%3Adr2x%3Adr2x_configuration&amp;media=ycsserver:dr2x:dr2x_main_menue.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ycs-wiki.xreflector.net\/lib\/exe\/fetch.php?w=400&amp;tok=49976b&amp;media=ycsserver:dr2x:dr2x_main_menue.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Touch [A SETUP] to display set up screen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ycs-wiki.xreflector.net\/lib\/exe\/detail.php?id=ycsserver%3Adr2x%3Adr2x_configuration&amp;media=ycsserver:dr2x:dr2x_a_setup.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ycs-wiki.xreflector.net\/lib\/exe\/fetch.php?w=400&amp;tok=b47dd1&amp;media=ycsserver:dr2x:dr2x_a_setup.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Touch [F] on the bottom of the screen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ycs-wiki.xreflector.net\/lib\/exe\/detail.php?id=ycsserver%3Adr2x%3Adr2x_configuration&amp;media=ycsserver:dr2x:dr2x_a_setup2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ycs-wiki.xreflector.net\/lib\/exe\/fetch.php?w=400&amp;tok=080495&amp;media=ycsserver:dr2x:dr2x_a_setup2.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Touch [TIMER]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ycs-wiki.xreflector.net\/lib\/exe\/detail.php?id=ycsserver%3Adr2x%3Adr2x_configuration&amp;media=ycsserver:dr2x:dr2x_timer.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ycs-wiki.xreflector.net\/lib\/exe\/fetch.php?w=400&amp;tok=31065a&amp;media=ycsserver:dr2x:dr2x_timer.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Touch [TOT]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ycs-wiki.xreflector.net\/lib\/exe\/detail.php?id=ycsserver%3Adr2x%3Adr2x_configuration&amp;media=ycsserver:dr2x:dr2x_timer_tot.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ycs-wiki.xreflector.net\/lib\/exe\/fetch.php?w=400&amp;tok=c48cf3&amp;media=ycsserver:dr2x:dr2x_timer_tot.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For [TX TOT] use an appropriate value (transmission time limit)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For [IMRS TOT] set 30 seconds to be in syncron with the ycs server<br><em>(this is the hold time of the dr2x itself for an actively used dg-id. On the ycs server this is also 30 seconds as the default).<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"information_to_the_ycs_server_sysop\">Information to the YCS server sysop<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After the DR-2X has now been successfully connected to the YCS, it will now appear on the dashboard.<br>Please contact the YCS server sysop so that he can enter any missing information about the new repeater.<br><em>You can find the contact email on the dashboard of the YCS (SITE-INFO).<\/em><br><br>The following information is required:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Repeater Callsign<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Name of the location <em>(e.g. Bad Mergentheim)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>QTH-Locator 6-digit <em>(e.g. JN49VM)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>RX-Frequency in Hz <em>(e.g. 431962500)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>TX-Frequency in Hz <em>(e.g. 439562500)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><br><br>All DG-IDs (Group DG-ID) configured in the DR-2X repeater are now statically (fixed) booked on the YCS server. Especially with many configured DG-IDs, there is a desire to activate some only when required (on demand).<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The YCS server sysop has the option to configure all DG-IDs of the DR-2X connection on demand and also to activate your preferred DG-IDs statically if desired. Please tell him which DG-IDs you would like to have static (fixed) activated.<br><br>With this function it is possible to configure all DG-ID (02-99) in the DR-2X that they work with the YCS server. On the DR-2X only the traffic of the statically (fixed) activated DG-IDs can be heard. All other DG-IDs can be activated by the user on demand by simply sending in the corresponding DG-ID. This DG-ID is then automatically booked dynamically on the YCS server for 10 minutes.
